Description

What's Brewing—Powering Central Oregon's Growth
Energy plays a critical role in Central Oregon’s economy—from powering local businesses and new housing to supporting future economic growth.
Join the Bend Chamber for a What’s Brewing conversation about the future of power in Central Oregon. Representatives from regional utilities and emerging energy projects will discuss where our electricity and natural gas come from today, what’s driving energy demand, and how providers are planning for the future.
This discussion will explore topics such as energy reliability, infrastructure planning, electrification, and new technologies like geothermal energy being developed near Newberry Volcano. Business leaders will gain valuable insights into how the region’s energy landscape may evolve and what it could mean for Central Oregon’s growing economy.
