Change is inevitable, but how leaders guide their teams through it makes all the difference. This session explores both the emotional and practical realities of change, equipping leaders with tools to navigate uncertainty and help their teams emerge stronger, not stuck.
Speaker: Kristi Runberg, RN, MSN
Kristi brings nearly 20 years of diverse healthcare and leadership experience, spanning public health, bedside nursing, education, and leadership development. Her passion for fostering high-performing teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments led her to focus on training, culture, change management, and leadership development to deliver collaborative, impactful outcomes.
Kristi earned her Master of Nursing with a concentration in Leadership in Healthcare Systems and has since led and consulted on several successful change initiatives in her role as a Leadership Development Consultant. Her expertise centers on team dynamics and culture, effective communication and managing conflict, development coaching, change management, and facilitating team retreats and strategic work sessions. Professionally, Kristi spends her time leading the multiple clinic sites for the St. Charles' Cancer Center. Alongside her husband, Damon, she co-owns East Slope Economics, a consultancy specializing in data-driven organizational storytelling and leadership support services.
An active contributor to her community, Kristi serves as external faculty for the American Hospital Association and active member of the Central Oregon OHSU Alumni Association. When she’s not working, Kristi enjoys exploring the outdoors, spending time with her family, and connecting with her Central Oregon community.
Participants will be introduced to proven change management frameworks such as ADKAR, along with strategies for building resilience and maintaining momentum during times of transition. Through practical insights and real world examples, you’ll learn how to communicate with clarity, coach with empathy, and lead others through change with confidence and purpose.
This session is designed to help you become a steady, trusted leader when it matters most.
